→ 23 Jan 12 at 11 am We’re still active, we’re still alive. That’s the album art for our LP. Our full length is taking WAY too long to do, like way longer than expected and we’re also still working on new material to release on another LP also that I’ll talk more about later (it’s gonna be tight though, I promise.)

The LP is going to be titled “Aging Is A Series of Smaller, Whiter Rooms To Pace In” and right now it’s in limbo at this one studio. We owe him a bit more money but we don’t really want to pay him to finish it because not only is he a fucking asshole, he kinda sucks, so we are still finding another place to finish overdubs, vocals, and mixing and mastering. Fuck, to be honest, I’d rather just do the whole thing over again, write the first sessions off as a loss. It’ll probably be better in the end.

Most of the songs are ones that we’ve played live before and play all the time. Like, 12 tracks or something. 45 minutes of material or something. Whatever, it owns. We’re excited to get it to you.

We’ll probably Kickstarter or something, that would own, right?

→ 15 Oct 11 at 10 am We played last night in a community center in Clinton, NJ. We showed up kinda late for the show and missed all but one of the other bands. I (jason) had to use a borrowed drum kit so I was pretty sloppy. During the set, the bass drum kept moving forward and at some points, I couldn’t even reach it with my foot. Actually all the pieces kept moving forward on me and made me play really sloppy. Mike went apeshit and jumped on his giant bass amp, then proceeded to jump off in a burst of adrenaline and chipped the bass he was borrowing from this one dude. But all in all, it was a fun show and so worth the drive for only playing a few songs.

Recent Show at the Lansdale YMCA

Well as some of you may or may not know, we played at show at YMCA this past Saturday. We arrived kind of late but it was alright. The show was infested with 14 year old fan girls and metalcore kids; this was a bad sign already. As we were setting up, Richie noticed the mic he was handed to use wasn’t really working. So as we started playing he threw it at the ground because it was not working at all at this point. They gave him a new mic, but that one was busted already too. It ended up on the ground as well. During the set, he threw his mic stand at my (Jason) crash cymbal and knocked that and my hi hat over but I quickly set em up and continuing playing the song. We finished the show with Nightmares (like always). Craig and I decided to do an extended solo at the end of it and went on for a few minutes just soloing it up. I think we did this just because everyone hated us and wanted us to get off the stage because there was a lame metalcore band on after us, and we just wanted to piss them off by taking up more time. We thought it went great, but no one else really seemed to give a fuck about us. So as we were packing up our gear, the dude that set up the show walks over all pissed off and announces to Richie that he has to pay for the mics that he broke. Richie said no because the damn things were already broken. That really pissed the dude off. Needless to say, we are no longer allowed to play the Lansdale YMCA. Who gives a shit though? It was a stupid venue and we’d probably never even play there again anyway. We maybe gained like one fan at the show but it was a fun show to play regardless. I just hope we were able to piss off some metalcore kids who don’t understand anything that isn’t in 4/4 and contains a breakdown every minute. That would make it all worth it.
